Cedar Adirondack Chairs Information

After not being able to get comfortable one summer vacation, Thomas Lee created a unique new chair with a slanted back and seat, and spacious armrests, now well-recognizable as the Adirondack Chair. It was in 1903 when Lee took his design to carpenter friend, Harry Bunnell. Bunnell saw the potential for the design and patented the Adirondack chair.
